Welcome to my website.

I appreciate your interest and hope this site will serve as a useful resource to future search committees considering my qualifications for a pastoral or teaching position.

My Faith

I am deeply in love with my savior, Jesus Christ and subscribe to the The Westminster Confession of Faith without reservation.

My Family

The Lord has blessed me with a spouse and three small children. My wife, Rose, and I have been married for 6 years and in that time have been blessed with two sons (Josiah, and Amos–who is due on October 23rd) and a daughter (Charity). He has brought us from college to the work force and from the work force to seminary (and now from seminary to PhD work in Canada). Together we have learned trust and reliance upon Him through a variety of circumstances.

My Church Internship

I am a "Candidate for Gospel Ministry" and an intern under care of the Mississippi Valley Presbytery (Presbyterian Church of America). From February 2008 through February 2009, I served the children, youth, young adults and, through these groups, the general congregation at Wynndale Presbyterian Church in Terry, MS. I also had the privilege of preaching on Sundays when Dr. Douglas, the pastor, was otherwise engaged.

My Secular Experience

I have worked in both secular and ministry fields and have been greatly blessed by the opportunities the Lord has given me to work under a variety of conditions and with a variety of people. In the secular world, my experience ranges from new home construction to tobacco cessation.

My Education

I am a graduate of the University of Oklahoma (B.A. in Linguistics) and of Reformed Theological Seminary (Master of Divinity). I am now pursuing a PhD in Old Testament from McMaster Divinity College (matriculation in September 2010).
