More about my time serving Wynndale Presbyterian Church . . .

Read the devotional I wrote and delivered for Reformation Day 2008.

The "youth" group was composed primarily of those 8 years old through 12th grade. Even so, meetings occasionally included those as young as 5. As a whole, we met twice a week for study, food and games. Additionally, I met once a week with the older students for more intensive discipleship. During my time at Wynndale we studied the Shorter Catechism (looking at the meaning and basis of each answer), the book of Joshua, Francis Schaeffer's How Should We Then Live? and embarked on surveys of both the Old and New Testaments.

I also taught and ministered to the young adults at Wynndale PCA. This age group consisted of those college age and up (including those who have had well-established careers for many years). We concentrated our study on an in-depth look at the the book of Genesis.

I had the responsibility to lead and direct Vacation Bible School. As you might imagine, this can be a daunting task but one that the Lord chose to bless. In 2008 the Lord brought in several neighborhood kids through the event and allowed me to present the gospel to all.

While not first among my responsibilities, I did have the privilege of preaching occasionally at Wynndale PCA. I invite you to listen to my sermons. Additionally, I had (and still have) the freedom to preach once a month on the circuit and truly enjoy these sacred opportunities to proclaim the truths of scripture.
